Knee Pain, Stem Cells and The Real Cause/Fix

Hello Wellness Warriors,
I’d like to share a compelling case that highlights the importance of looking beyond symptoms to uncover the true source of chronic pain.
A 55-year-old woman came to me suffering from long-standing, moderate to severe pain in both knees. She’s an enthusiastic tennis player who had been forced to stop playing for over a year due to discomfort and limited mobility.
Prior to seeing me, she had consulted two orthopedic specialists and a neurologist, completed extensive imaging that revealed only mild to moderate degeneration, and participated in physical therapy. In an effort to find relief, she also invested nearly $10,000 out of pocket in bone marrow–derived stem cell injections to both knees. The process involved harvesting stem cells, processing them, and delivering them via ultrasound-guided injections. After six months, the results were minimal, leaving her understandably discouraged.
She was referred to my practice by a friend who had previously experienced success addressing chronic pain. Upon examination, all orthopedic testing came back negative, showing no definitive structural damage to either knee. This raised an important question—what if the pain wasn’t originating in the knees at all?
As many of you know, I’ve been certified in Applied Kinesiology (AK) since 2003. AK combines physical assessment with energetic testing to help identify dysfunctions that traditional evaluations often miss. Using AK alongside ZYTO computerized functional and nutritional assessments, I identified several organ, glandular, and systemic imbalances that were referring pain to the knees. The discomfort was not due to joint damage, but rather downstream effects of long-standing metabolic and functional disruptions.
This explained why conventional treatments hadn’t worked—the knees weren’t the primary issue.
We began a targeted protocol that included whole-food–based supplements at precise dosages, guided by computer testing. I also conducted food sensitivity testing to identify dietary triggers, and performed an in-depth nutritional analysis (with the help of ChatGPT) to determine supportive foods, superfoods, and items to eliminate. After all, nutrition plays a vital role in healing—food truly is medicine.
Over the course of three testing and treatment cycles—combining supplementation, personalized food therapy, and energetic frequency support using The Digestion Card—her body began to rebalance and repair itself.
Today, she is completely pain-free, back on the tennis court, and feeling better overall than she has in years.
This case is a powerful reminder that pain is often a signal of deeper functional or metabolic imbalance. The body communicates through symptoms, and our role is to listen carefully, identify the root causes, and address them accurately and comprehensively.
She’s thrilled to be playing tennis again—but more importantly, her body is functioning in a healthier, more balanced state.
Please consider sharing this message with someone who is deeply invested in their health journey. In today’s world, staying well often requires becoming a true wellness warrior. Comprehensive, holistic healthcare isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity.
Wishing you optimal health,
Dr. Karp
