Beyond "Normal": Why Your Test Results Don't Always Tell the Whole Story

Hello Fellow Wellness Warriors,
I hope this email finds you and your loved ones well.
Over the past several weeks, several patients have come in after receiving normal CT scans or MRI results. Their doctors’ recommendation was simply to “wait and see” if anything changes, and repeat the testing in either 3, 6, 9 months, or even a year. Unfortunately, they are rarely given proactive, body-friendly steps to reduce inflammation, support detoxification, or improve overall function in the meantime.
The truth is that health is a dynamic process. It moves in one direction or the other every day — better or worse — based on how we live and how our bodies function.
Food is more than calories. Food is information capable of turning genes on and off. Sleep is when the body recovers, heals, and regenerates — when the brain literally detoxifies itself through the glymphatic system. Exercise strengthens multiple systems at once: cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, nervous system, immune function, metabolism, and brain health.
Yet many people still have hidden functional imbalances in organs, glands, and body systems that don’t show up clearly on routine testing. What does that mean? For example, the liver or thyroid may not be functioning optimally, leading to unexplained fatigue — even when blood work appears “normal.” The kidneys or circulation may be functionally imbalanced, contributing to headaches. The adrenal glands or ovaries may be under stress, leading to hormonal symptoms like hot flashes. And the list goes on.
The important thing to understand is that blood work often shows the end result of deeper imbalances, not the cause. For example, someone may have elevated cholesterol and LDL levels, and the common solution is a statin medication. But the real question is: why are those levels elevated in the first place?
The human body is incredibly intelligent. Every second of every day it manages hundreds of thousands of functions without our conscious awareness. Through advanced applied kinesiology, we can communicate with the body’s innate intelligence and uncover functional imbalances that may not appear on blood tests or imaging.
From there, we use advanced technologies such as

and www.sciencebasednutrition.com
These tools help identify the specific corrections needed to restore balance and improve the function of organs, glands, and body systems. This approach allows us to take personalized, precise, and proactive steps toward better health.
Optimum Function = Optimum Health.
Instead of guessing, the body provides real-time feedback. Computer software can then recommend the exact whole-food supplements and support needed to restore balance, optimize function, and create whole-body coherence. Many people believe that if they don’t have symptoms, they must be healthy.
But in reality, symptoms usually appear only after the body can no longer compensate for underlying imbalances.
Your health is your most valuable asset. Doing the right things every day certainly helps. But sometimes it is worth taking a deeper look and doing the work necessary to achieve truly optimal health.
In the long run, the cost of proactive health care is a fraction of the cost of poor health.
If you feel like something in your health has been overlooked, or if you want to take a deeper proactive look at your health, my office would be happy to help. Even if you feel healthy, a functional evaluation can reveal imbalances long before symptoms appear.
