Does Dr. Karp treat children?

Does Dr. Karp treat children?
The answer is absolutely.
Over my more than 40 years in practice, I have treated children of many different ages—from young children through teenagers.
And one of the things I’ve learned is that children’s bodies have a story to tell, too.
Sometimes a child is experiencing digestive problems, skin issues, headaches, fatigue, recurring illnesses, sleep problems, allergies, aches and pains—or simply doesn’t feel well.
Parents know something isn’t right.
They may have already been to several doctors. Tests may have come back normal.
Yet their child is still struggling.
That’s when I start asking a different question: What might we be missing?
When I evaluate a child, I don’t simply look at the symptom. I look at the child as a whole.
Using Applied Kinesiology and other gentle, non-invasive methods, I look for underlying functional imbalances that may be contributing to what they are experiencing.
The body has a story to tell. The key is to listen.
By tapping into the body’s autonomic nervous system, I look for clues that can help us better understand what the body may be trying to communicate.
Because sometimes the problem isn’t where the symptom is.
If there is a child in your family struggling with a health challenge—especially one for which you haven’t been able to find answers—I would be happy to take a look.
Sometimes the body just needs someone to listen.
To your family’s health,
Dr. Drew Karp
